NovaTwist Closures

Description

The NovaTwist capsules are the latest wine closures that are available to the home winemaker and smaller wineries in the USA. They are perfect for manually sealing standard screw-top glass wine bottles (30X60BVS/BVP).

No special tools are needed – push it on and screw it clockwise until tight, and it is that simple. The NovaTwist capsules can be opened and closed repeatedly with ease and comfort while remaining airtight. To open, turn counterclockwise to break the seal. To re-close for use later, screw the cap back onto the bottle.

1. Push cap all the way down onto the bottle, you will feel the internal lugs slide over the thread and stop on the rim (a slight click can be heard when you reach the endpoint). An obvious bulge appears on the side of the cap.

2. Hold the bottle firmly and screw the capsule down until you meet the first point of resistance. There is no need to over-tighten!

3. If the cap is too tight, the edge is forced over the glass rim and will jump the threads and leak.
